Pictue Post
too many pictures to describe them all so I'll give you a summary. I've been on the computer a lot lately. Yesterday we went to my cousin's (Stacey.) We made Christmas cookies (yeah, that means longhorn cookie cutters in Texas,) played DVD Scene It and Apples to Apples. Today, Stacey took my sister, Michaela (muh.kell.a) and me to Sydney & Co. a hair salon where my Aunt Sherrie works. We met my mom there, and she, my sister, and I had our hair cut. That was fun. I got a trim which is my usual. Those feet are actually my sister's from when she was sitting in the spinny chair. Then when we got home I ran around and took pictures. There are some of our Christmas decorations, the backyard, and our nice, cozy fire. (I love having fires, I guess I'm a lil pyro!) For some reason one of the pictures (the penultimate, next to last, one) turned out strange like I moved the camera in the middle of my shot. Also, if you notice the huge pile of logs and the stump, we just had a huge oak tree cut down in the back because it died from the drought and was looking pretty shady. That's basically what all the pictures are. Hope you enjoy. :)

Christmas Break
1) a group of stylish mannequins at Kohl's 2) a very majestic reindeer at Target 3) strolling through Target 4) some branches looking neat on this tree in the back yard 4) wind chimes that are also in the back. I drew them once before. and 5) that's my family's chihuahua, Pepsi. Isn't he cute!
It's Christmas Break!!! This week at school took forever to pass by but the break is finally here. It has been great so far. There have been cookies, church lock-ins, christmas trees, and hot coco! I love it. I watched The Notebook for the first time yesterday and holy cow. It put me at a loss for words because it was so moving. If you have not seen it, *Cough Tally Cough* you definitely should...soon. like right now.
Also, y'all didn't know this but my computer's charger broke so I've been using my mom for like two months now. Today though, mom got me a charger from Best Buy so I have my computer back, all to myself. That makes me really happy. I hope that everyone is enjoying the holidays and gets to spend a lot of time with family and friends. Merry Christmas everyone! (7 Days til Christmas)
I almost forgot to mention. There's this awesome site called deviantart.com. I got a profile on it a while back but never really used it until tonight. The site is basically a place where artists can post and organize there work, and look at pieces by other artists. I've only put a couple of photos so far but I still enjoy the site immensely. Please go check out my profile if you get the chance. Thanks.

12 Days 'til Christmas!
That's right, today was officially 12 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS! It's time (if you haven't already) to bring out those decorations, scavenge for those Christmas classics, (*cough cough *The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, maybe even A Nightmare Before Christmas, or Gremlins,) hang up some lights, and crank your radios to stations where you can enjoy Christmas tunes all the way from the "Jingle Bell Rock" to "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out."
Even if you don't celebrate Christmas this is a wonderful time to be with family and be grateful for everything you have. If you're moping around, or in other words not on this seasonal high, please get it together! Bake some cookies, call up a friend, watch a great Disney! I don't know, just don't sulk, this is a time for cheer! So please, if you're down, cheer up and if you're um...up? then great. I hope that everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season, and a Happy New Year!
Those of you who are going to be out shopping and in a lot of traffic, please be careful! Drive safe and be patient. It's annoying to hear but it's "better safe than sorry."
That's almost all I wanted to share for now other than the fact that I can't wait for this week to finish, then Christmas break will have officially started! Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
p.s.
Just a quick note. I finished Emma. I loved it so much (Jane Austen rocks! definitely recommend you read some of her work) that I decided to re-read Pride and Prejudice! It's great!

I thought it would be fun to create a list of foreign songs from around the world and outside the U.S. that Savannah and I like. Here is our compiled songs: our foreign playlist...
(*Note: Some of the songs may be in English, but the band/artist is from whatever listed country...not many of the songs listed will be like this, however.)

Emma by Jane Austen/"All for One, and One for All"
I have just finished a magnificent English novel by Jane Austen. I have read another novel by her, Pride & Prejudice, which is a favorite of mine, but this particular read was titled Emma. For short, the book was amazing! Passionate, Witty, Unpredictable, Lively, and Believable, I was sitting in Highbury with Emma, dancing with Frank Churchill in the Crown, or occassionally overhearing a chat between Mrs. Weston and Mr. Knightley at the Randalls. I only wish that I could let Jane Austen know how appreciated her novels are. Its hard to believe this particular novel was first published in 1816.
I created a link for you to see my review of the novel on Goodreads. A great site I would highly recommend you check out some time. :)

Also tonight I saw The Three Musketeers! The setting, scenery, plot, and cast were all incredibly done. I was especially impressed with the performance of Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan. (It took me some time to get over his hair though!) The movie was very different from the version of the story I was used to but I believe it may have been more like the book which is much more sastifying. I must admit though I already have a partiality for the tale considering it is French. I happen to like France very much due to the fact that my grandmother ( I call her Kiki. pronounce: kick-key sorta?) is from France. I've never been but have been dying to since I was a little girl. Eitherway I need to go, sorry if I bored you or anything. Au Revoir!

After School Laziness
Today was a pretty good day in a very long and tiring week. Finished up school with fractioning a shakesperian sonnet in my English class. Nothing too special today. Tons of homework, but now that I think about we did watch Looney Toons in French. That was fun. Can you say you watched french cartoons!!! Ha, I didn't think so. (Doesn't count if you're from France.)
Recently, since the school basketball season started my mom (who's a coach) and my lil sis (who plays the sport) haven't been home a lot after school due to games they have.I don't play, used to but not anymore. Anyways, I usually spend my free couple of hours eating, doing homework, watching Netflix, and that sort of thing. Recently, I've been watching this cute show, Danny Phantom, and just finished another called Avatar: The Last Airbender. Both are great. I also really enjoy watching anime shows. My sister's the best at finding them though. Some great shows are Ouran High School's Host Club, Spice and Wolf, and Fruits Basket, in case your wondering. Yesterday, I figured I'd try and find a new addicting anime but my first attempt was an EPIC FAIL!!!! The horrid show was called Elfen Lied. The image and description looked promising, but barely three minutes into the show you could tell that the creator had no problem with slashing apart people ruthlessly and female nudity. I forced myself through it with gritted teeth but never again! I can happily say that show has been removed from our Instant Que forever. Luckily, after this horrid feature I actually found a decent show called Full Metal Panic! It was very interesting, a little vulgar but funny.
Haven't eaten yet so I think I'm going to go find some ramen. I LOVE RAMEN! <3 Sure, it may have tons of sodium, but I'm a highschool runner so therefore don't have a lot of need to worry. Easy Mac is also great. You can see I have a preference for the fast and easy foods, but what can I say, they're good.
p.s. Tally's addicted to sweet tea to but in Pennsylvania, where she recently moved, there is a horrid lack of legitimate tea brands. Sorry Tally. Moving from one of the Top Tea Towns (in Texas) to little only three brands of tea town.
I'll tell you more about my week later. TGIF! :)
